Originally, I pursued a Bachelor’s of Engineering degree in Geomatics from the Military Institute of Engineering (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and immediatelly pursued a Master’s Degree in Geoinformatics from the Federal University of Amazonas (Manaus, Brazil). I continue working in the field, as an Urban Planner, dealing mostly with Geoinformation and Urban Cadastre, at the Municipal Institute of Urbanism Pereira Passos (Rio de Janeiro) and am finishing a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
Other than that, I pursued a call to ordained ministry in the Igreja Episcopal Anglicana do Brasil (Anglican Communion) and am a Priest in the Diocese of Rio de Janeiro. I went to seminary at Egmont Machado Krischke Theological Seminary, and spent some time at our then companion Diocese of Atlanta, where I took 2 years of art classes at SCAD-Atlanta. After working for some years mostly in the fields of Liturgy and Sacred Art, I have decided to start a second doctorate, this time a Doctorate of Ministry in Liturgy, at the School of Theology of the University of the South (Sewanee).
